Begun in 1985 as a company that focused exclusively on the design and manufacture of steel injection molds for the plastic industry, today Machine Tool Technology Inc., one of the only custom mold injection builders in the Richmond, VA vicinity, is continually growing and expanding in order to better serve it’s customers. In July of 1995, Machine Tool Technology Inc., moved it’s operations to a newly constructed 7200 square ft, dedicated manufacturing facility on the northern outskirts of Colonial Heights, conveniently located just off US Interstate 95 on the southern fringe of Richmond.

This move enabled Machine Tool Technology Inc. to expand it’s manufacturing capacity, and the company soon invested in a new wire EDM and a 3 axis machining center. With the dedication of it’s 13 full time employees, Machine Tool Technology Inc. continues to design and manufacture quality injection molds for the plastics industry.
